Meet the Founder

Jorick Ritsema is the creator of ShuttleSub and currently works at NH Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Like many hotels, his team originally managed shuttles the old-fashioned way — on paper.

"We used to erase and rewrite all the time. It worked, but when it got busy, things got messy," Jorick says. With a passion for IT and coding, he decided to build something better.

Within just a month, he launched ShuttleSub — a web-based system designed for real hotel operations. The first version went live on January 20th, and hotel management was immediately impressed.

"I'm constantly improving ShuttleSub based on our real-world needs. The difference is: I built this as someone who actually uses it every day at work. That’s why I believe in its success — and why I want to make it available to other hotels too."
